2nd Annual 32 in 32ish NFL Previews: Playoff predictions and Super Bowl winner

Time to finish up the season preview posts with my predicted NFL playoff bracket for the coming season. I’ve determined what records I think every team will end up with these season and the subsequent playoff seedings. In this post last year, I correctly predicted the Patriots to beat the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX so let’s see if I can repeat that feat this year.

AFC Playoff Seeds

  1. New England Patriots
  2. Indianapolis Colts
  3. Denver Broncos
  4. Pittsburgh Steelers
  5. Miami Dolphins
  6. Houston Texans

NFC Playoff Seeds

  1. Green Bay Packers
  2. Seattle Seahawks
  3. Philadelphia Eagles
  4. New Orleans Saints
  5. Detroit Lions
  6. Dallas Cowboys

AFC Wild Card Round

Broncos defeat Texans
Steelers defeat Dolphins

AFC Divisional Round

Patriots defeat Broncos
Colts defeat Steelers

AFC Championship Game

Patriots defeat Colts

NFC Wild Card Round

Cowboys defeat Eagles
Lions defeat Saints

NFC Divisional Round

Packers defeat Lions
Seahawks defeat Cowboys

NFC Championship Game

Packers defeat Seahawks

Super Bowl

So if this scenario pans out, we’ll have repeats of both of last year’s conference championship games. The Patriots will make it to their second straight Super Bowl, but the Packers defeat the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game and ultimate beat the Patriots in Super Bowl 50 as QB Aaron Rodgers wins his second Super Bowl title
